FIDI Board

Driving the FIDI organisation forward

The Board is the executive body of FIDI and drives the organisation forward. It’s responsibilities include:

  • Outlining FIDI’s strategy and policy
  • Leading FIDI’s operations
  • Chairing the annual General Assembly
  • Implementing proposals approved by the General Assembly

All Board members have to be employed by a FIDI-affiliated company. At least twice a year, the FIDI Board meets with the representatives of the FIDI Associations at the Delegates Meeting.

Each Board member serves for a minimum of two years, and up to a maximum of 8 years. Candidate members of the Board are screened by the Board Nomination Committee and are subject to election rules defined in the FIDI Statutes. The proposed nominees are presented to the General Assembly, which then votes to instate the Board.
